In the film Onward 3D 2020, in a suburban fantasy world where magic has faded, two elf brothers, Ian and Barley Lightfoot, embark on a quest. They receive a magical staff and a spell that can resurrect their deceased father for one day. The spell goes awry, only summoning their father's lower half. The brothers have 24 hours to find a rare gem to complete the spell.
