In the film Gods of Egypt 3D 2016, the god Set murders his brother Osiris and seizes the throne, plunging Egypt into darkness. A mortal thief, Bek, allies with the deposed and blinded god Horus to restore order. Bek's motivation is to resurrect his murdered lover, Zaya. Their quest takes them across deserts, into the underworld, and through celestial realms to gather the pieces of Horus's power and confront Set. They face monstrous guardians and betrayals, culminating in a final battle where both mortal courage and divine might are tested to overthrow the tyrant and restore balance to the world.
