In the film Everest 3D 2015, two commercial climbing expeditions, led by Rob Hall and Scott Fischer, attempt to summit Mount Everest in May 1996. Among the climbers are journalists and amateurs, each with personal motivations. A sudden, ferocious blizzard traps them during their descent in the perilous "Death Zone" above 8,000 meters. Facing extreme cold, hurricane-force winds, and rapidly depleting oxygen, the teams are separated and must fight for survival. The film dramatizes their desperate struggle against the mountain's unforgiving power, turning an ambitious quest for triumph into a harrowing tale of human endurance and tragic loss.
