In the film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides 3D 2011, Captain Jack Sparrow is shanghaied onto the ship of the infamous Blackbeard, who is searching for the Fountain of Youth. Jack must also contend with his former lover Angelica and the Spanish Navy. The quest requires a mermaid's tear and two silver chalices. After capturing a mermaid, the crew faces betrayal and supernatural threats on the island housing the Fountain. A final confrontation at the mystical site forces Jack to navigate treacherous alliances with Blackbeard, Angelica, and a vengeful Hector Barbossa to determine who will gain its power.
