Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children 3D 2016 follows sixteen year old Jacob Portman who travels to a mysterious island in Wales after a family tragedy. He discovers that the fairy tales his grandfather told him were real. Jacob finds Miss Peregrine who runs a home for peculiar children with supernatural abilities including invisibility levitation and control over plants. The home exists inside a time loop that resets daily to protect them from monsters called Hollowgasts. Jacob learns he shares his grandfathers ability to see the invisible creatures. The monsters led by the evil Mr Barron track down the home forcing Jacob to fight alongside the peculiar children to save Miss Peregrine from being captured.
