R.I.P.D. 3D 2013. Boston detective Nick Walker is killed by his corrupt partner Hayes and recruited into the Rest in Peace Department. He partners with Old West lawman Roy Pulsipher. They return to Earth in new avatars—Nick as an elderly Asian man, Roy as a beautiful blonde. They investigate Deados, spirits who escaped judgment. The stolen gold from Nick's last case is part of the Staff of Jericho, an artifact that can reverse the tunnel to the afterlife. Nick and Roy must stop Hayes from reassembling it and unleashing apocalypse.
