In the film How to Train Your Dragon 2 3D 2014, five years after uniting dragons and Vikings, Hiccup and Toothless explore new lands. They discover a hidden ice cave guarded by a mysterious Dragon Rider, who is revealed to be Hiccup's long-lost mother, Valka. She protects a sanctuary of wild dragons. This refuge is threatened by the warlord Drago Bludvist, who controls dragons with a monstrous Alpha. When Drago captures Toothless, Hiccup must unite Berk with the wild dragons to challenge Drago's army and free his friend, deciding the future for both species.
