Tai Chi Hero 3D 2013 follows Yang Luchan an outsider who has married into Chen village and is learning Chen style kung fu now called Tai Chi. A greedy governor aided by Western technology plans to build a railway through the village using steam powered machines. Luchan trains with his wife Chen Yu Niang while preparing to defend the village. He transforms from a clumsy novice into a warrior who uses Tai Chis fluid movements against the rigid brutality of the governors machines. The conflict pits tradition against progress as Luchan unlocks not just a fighting style but a way of life. The final showdown determines whether the village will survive modernization.
