Beowulf 3D 2007 follows the legendary Viking warrior who comes to the aid of King Hrothgar whose kingdom is terrorized by Grendel a merciless monster. Beowulf nearly two meters tall and full of confidence defeats Grendel by ripping off the creatures arm. Grendels mother a water demon attacks the hall seeking revenge. Beowulf tracks her to an underwater cave and kills her with a magic sword. He then becomes king and rules for many years until facing a dragon in his old age. This animated film uses motion capture performances.
