Rogue One A Star Wars Story 3D 2016 Events unfold between the third and fourth episodes of the Star Wars saga. The Empire has subjugated nearly the entire galaxy but pockets of resistance remain. Senator Mon Mothma learns the Imperials are developing a new secret weapon the Death Star. The rebels form a squad of daredevils with troubled pasts to infiltrate enemy territory and steal the space stations engineering plans. The mission is highly risky and they must rely on themselves as the Jedi will not come to the rescue soon.
