Dune Part One 3D 2021. The powerful Atreides family, led by Duke Leto, is sent to the desert planet Arrakis to oversee spice extraction, the most valuable substance in the universe. The previous rulers, the warlike Harkonnens, terrorized the native Fremen and left behind failing equipment. The Harkonnens, led by Baron Vladimir Harkonnen and Glossu Rabban, prepare a full-scale war to retake the planet. Meanwhile, Duke Leto’s son Paul struggles with his own destiny. His mother, a member of the Bene Gesserit order, teaches him the power of the Voice and convinces him he may be the local messiah named Muad’Dib. Paul dreams of a Fremen girl and visions of a troubled future. In between, he trains in combat under the warrior Gurney Halleck and awaits the inevitable enemy invasion.
