Amphibious 3D 2010 Marine biologist Skylar Shane hires charter boat captain Jack Bowman to help her find prehistoric life form samples in the north Sumatran Sea. During the expedition they encounter a gang of smugglers headquartered on a fishing platform. A boy named Tamal sold into servitude begs Skylar to take him away and she agrees reminded of her lost daughter. After Tamal arrives mysterious events unfold and the smugglers are killed one by one by a terrifying creature from the deep. As a violent storm intensifies the ancient creature resurfaces forcing Skylar and Jack to battle the horror once locked in the abyss.
