Battle of the Year 3D 2013. Dante Graham, a hip-hop mogul, wants to reclaim the title for the USA at the world's biggest b-boy competition. The Americans have not won in fifteen years. He enlists his friend Jason Blake, a former basketball coach grieving a personal tragedy, to assemble and lead a new team. Blake holds nationwide auditions and creates a "Dream Team" of the best solo dancers . He must mold their individual egos into a cohesive unit through months of intense training. They ultimately reach the finals in France against the favored Korean team but lose by a single point. Blake decides to continue training for the next year's competition .
