She investigates a mysterious artifact called the Dreamstone, which grants one wish to anyone who holds it. Diana unwittingly wishes Steve back to life. The stone falls into the hands of businessman Maxwell Lord, who becomes its living embodiment. He grants wishes worldwide, causing global chaos. Barbara Minerva wishes to become like Diana and transforms into the powerful Cheetah. Diana must renounce her wish, regain her strength, and convince humanity to reject the stone's temptations before the world is destroyed.
