In the meta-horror film Found Footage 3D 2016, a film crew sets out to make a found-footage horror movie about a couple in a secluded cabin, while a second crew documents their production. Derek, the writer and lead, invites his ex-wife Amy to star, creating real tension. As they begin filming in a reportedly haunted house, strange phenomena disrupt the shoot. The crew initially dismisses the events as pranks, but the supernatural activity escalates, blurring the line between their staged movie and terrifying reality, trapping them in their own horror film with deadly consequences.
