Free Birds 3D 2013 follows Reggie a free-spirited turkey who teams up with eccentric Jake a fellow turkey determined to change history. They steal a time machine from a government laboratory and travel back to New England in 1621. Their mission is to remove turkey from the first Thanksgiving menu ensuring turkeys never become a national dish. They encounter pilgrims engaging in amusing misunderstandings and meet Native Americans who help their cause. The pair must navigate historical events while avoiding capture and preventing their own species from becoming dinner. This animated comedy features the voices of Owen Wilson and Woody Harrelson as the two turkeys on a mission to rewrite history through time travel and teamwork.
